A 股盘中

报道直接影响霍尔木兹海峡供应风险、Brent(布伦特原油)、WTI(西德克萨斯中质原油)和航运定价。

WASHINGTON (AP) — U.S. President Donald Trump said Sunday he decided to hold off on ordering American forces to carry out new strikes against Iran at the urging of Gulf allies Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Trump added that a plan was in place for U.S. forces to carry out “the biggest attack since World War II” on Sunday. But he decided to scrap the plan and give diplomacy more time to play out after hearing from key Gulf leaders — including Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman — as well as at the request of unnamed Iranian officials.

“I said to the crown prince, ‘What would you rather do? Would you rather us do this or not?’” Trump told reporters on Air Force One as he flew back to Washington after spending the weekend at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey. “They said we would much prefer a deal as opposed to an attack, because you don’t know where these attacks lead.”

Trump and the crown prince spoke on Saturday before the U.S. president announced in a social media post that Mideast allies had reached the “perimeters” of a deal to end the 5-month-old war.

It was another turnabout for Trump, who a day earlier said he’s “losing faith” in negotiations with Iran and offered the ominous warning that the U.S. military “will be hitting them very hard.”

Trump on Sunday reiterated that the emerging deal would include a reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, the critical waterway where about a fifth of all traded oil and natural gas flowed before the start of the war, and would resolve U.S. concerns about Iran’s nuclear program.

And Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said on Sunday that the Strait of Hormuz “will in no way return to the status it was before February 28th,” the day the war started.

On a call with Iranian state TV, he added that Iran is discussing shipping through the strait with Oman, on the other side of Hormuz, but that there’s no current talk about reopening the crucial waterway.

Trump has announced halts to strikes on Iran on several occasions since the United States and Israel attacked Iran on Feb. 28, only for things to unravel and fighting to resume again.

Our flagship newsletter breaks down the biggest headlines of the day.

Iran’s defense minister said on X that the country was “neither surprised nor passive” following Trump’s announcement and said the Islamic Republic remains alert in the face of concrete threats from the U.S.

While Iran’s leaders appear united in a war strategy signaling strength and endurance, a struggle for control seems to be brewing within the theocracy’s leadership between those who oppose all negotiations with the U.S. and others who count on military pressure to win at the negotiating table.

The latest proposal would bring sides back to negotiations

Trump on Sunday said he expected negotiations to resume “tomorrow afternoon” but did not detail who would be involved in such talks.

A regional official said the proposal announced by Trump over the weekend calls for the U.S. and Iran to return to negotiations and continue working out many of the issues that have stymied prior progress on the deal.

The official, who is involved in the mediation efforts, said the proposal calls for reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and halting attacks across the region, including by Iranian-backed militias in Iraq, on Arab Gulf countries and Jordan.

The U.S., in exchange, will end its naval blockade on Iran and allow Tehran to export its oil as stated in the tentative ceasefire deal, he said.

No deal has been reached yet but mediation efforts are underway, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he wasn’t authorized to talk to the media.

Trump said that Israel is joining his commitment to end the war by implementing the ceasefire deal reached in June. Israel did not publicly comment on the announcement.

Saudis are concerned about Iran’s retaliation

Prince Mohammed, the kingdom’s de facto leader, raised concerns about the U.S. potentially escalating the conflict when he spoke with Trump by phone on Saturday .

The call was “candid and constructive,” according to a person briefed on the call who was not authorized to comment publicly and requested anonymity.

The crown prince conveyed that an escalation in fighting could have a severe impact on the global economy if Tehran responded to a new U.S. bombardment by targeting some of the United States’ Gulf allies.

The call happened before Trump’s social media announcement, the person said. The crown prince sought clarity from Trump on what potential new action he was weighing to take against Iran.

Saudi officials, the person added, have underscored in their engagements with the Trump administration that the kingdom — as well as fellow Persian Gulf energy titans the United Arab Emirates and Qatar — are in a good position to defend against further potential Iranian attacks, but that Kuwait could be more vulnerable to attacks by Iranian-backed militias in Iraq.

Trump suggested that his conversation with the Saudi crown prince weighed heavily in his decision to halt his plans to carry out strikes on Iran.

“It would have been disastrous for them. And they didn’t want us to do it,” Trump said. “And frankly, Saudi Arabia didn’t want it either. They thought that a deal is imminent.”

NEW YORK (AP) — Oil prices fell sharply Sunday after President Donald Trump said he would order U.S. forces to hold off on new strikes against Iran, claiming that a deal to end the fighting in the Middle East was near.

A resolution to the conflict, which has lasted more than five months, could give oil shippers the ability to send vessels out of the Persian Gulf, where tankers of oil and other products have been trapped during the fighting .

The price of U.S. crude oil fell 5% to $80.79 per barrel Sunday night. The price of Brent crude, the international standard, fell 5% to $83.87 per barrel.

Oil prices have been swinging widely since the U.S. and Israel launched attacks on Iran in late February, pushing past $100 per barrel multiple times during the spring.

As the conflict continued, high oil prices seeped into the cost of gasoline, jet fuel and many other products that are delivered using diesel. Motorists have paid more at the pump and customers shelled out more for airfare due to higher jet fuel costs. In some countries, fuel supplies ran low, leading to rationing and sporadic closures of schools and government offices.

Meanwhile, oil and gas companies amassed huge profits in the spring due to the high oil, gasoline and diesel prices that resulted when petroleum shippers couldn’t get through the critical Strait of Hormuz , a narrow waterway that borders Iran, due to the fighting.

Prices for U.S. crude oil on Sunday night remained about 20% higher than before the conflict began.

Stocks were volatile Friday as market participants weighed mixed reactions to a pair of Big Tech earnings reports and surging Treasury yields. The main equity indexes finished the session higher, though, and snapped their weekly losing streaks.

At the close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.5% at 52,485, the broader S&P 500 was 0.7% higher at 7,489, and the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite had gained 1.0% to 25,373.

But stocks' gains were contained as borrowing costs continued to climb. The 2-year Treasury yield jumped 4.1 basis points to 4.27%, while yields on the 10-year Treasury (+4.9 basis points to 4.712%) and 30-year bond (+4.6 basis points to 5.253%) hit their highest levels since 2007.

Today's rise in Treasury yields came after Cleveland Federal Reserve President Beth Hammack, who voted for a quarter-point rate hike at the July Fed meeting , said in a statement that "now is the time" for the central bank to act to bring inflation down. "The longer that high inflation persists, the more challenging and costly it can be to bring it back down."

Minneapolis Fed President Neel Kashkari, who also dissented in this week's Fed decision to hold interest rates steady in favor of a quarter-percentage-point hike, issued his own statement , saying that he'd prefer to raise rates now than to allow high inflation to become entrenched.

"The fixed-income complex is moving further away from the central bank's current midpoint of 3.63% as bond vigilantes protest [Fed] Chair Kevin Warsh's overly patient posture and dial up inflation expectations, amid a monetary policy institution that isn't following through on its hawkish rhetoric at this juncture," explains José Torres , senior economist at Interactive Brokers.

Amazon, Apple chart different paths after earnings

In single-stock news, Wall Street was once again tuned into earnings from a pair of Magnificent 7 stocks . Amazon ( AMZN ) emerged as a clear winner on Friday, surging 15.3% after the e-commerce and cloud giant reported a second-quarter beat on strong revenue growth in its cloud segment.

Track all markets on TradingView

Amazon also gave soft third-quarter revenue guidance due to Prime Day occurring in June this year, and lifted its full-year capital expenditures budget to $220 billion from $200 billion on higher costs for memory chips.

Bill Birmingham, managing director at REX Financial , REX Shares' parent company, says Amazon's quarter was "exceptional," with evidence that the company's custom silicon and artificial intelligence (AI) commercialization are gaining traction noteworthy.

And while it's worth keeping an eye on the lighter revenue guidance and higher spending levels, Birmingham said the print "provides real evidence that AI capex is being monetized."

Apple ( AAPL ), on the other hand, slumped 7.4%, as weak current-quarter revenue guidance overshadowed higher-than-expected fiscal third-quarter earnings and revenue.

Track all markets on TradingView

"We paid more per memory in the March quarter than the December quarter," said Tim Cook on the earnings call, his last as CEO of Apple. "And then as I alluded to last quarter, we expected to pay significantly more in the June quarter than the March quarter, and that is what happened. It was partially offset by the benefit of carry-in inventory."

Cook added that the company expects to pay even more for memory costs in its September quarter.

Argus Research analyst Jim Kelleher reiterated his Buy rating and $375 price target on Apple after earnings, representing implied upside of more than 20% to current levels.

"As we see it, Apple's perpetually refreshed roster of highly desirable products provides a unique advantage over industry rivals," says Kelleher. And dips should be bought on this high-quality stock to "establish or dollar-average into positions in AAPL," he adds.

Roblox has its worst day ever after earnings

While Apple was the worst Dow Jones stock today, Roblox ( RBLX ) was one of the worst stocks period. Shares plunged 26.9% — their biggest one-day decline ever — after the video-game company reported a second-quarter bookings miss and forecast lower-than-expected third-quarter bookings.

Track all markets on TradingView

Roblox also said it expects Q3 revenue to come in well below what Wall Street is expecting and did not offer a full-year forecast.

This doesn't seem to worry Oppenheimer analyst Martin Yang, who maintained an Outperform (Buy) rating on the communication services stock . "Retention remains stable and content is diversifying," he says, though cautioning that it's still uncertain as to when monetization will catch up to retention.

Yang isn't the only one holding out hope for RBLX. Of the 34 analysts covering Roblox who are tracked by S&P Global Market Intelligence , 19 say it's a Buy, 13 have it at Hold and two rate it a Sell. This works out to a consensus Buy recommendation.

Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria, and Oman adjust production and reaffirm commitment to market stability

The seven OPEC+ countries, which previously announced

additional voluntary adjustments in April and November 2023, namely Saudi

Arabia, Russia, Iraq, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria, and Oman met virtually on 5

July 2026, to review global market conditions and outlook.

In their collective commitment to support oil market

stability, the seven participating countries decided to implement a production

adjustment of 188 thousand barrels per day from the additional voluntary

adjustments announced in April 2023. This adjustment will be implemented in August

2026 as detailed in the table below. The additional voluntary adjustments

announced in April 2023 may be returned in part or in full subject to evolving

market conditions and in a gradual manner. The countries will continue to

closely monitor and assess market conditions, and in their continuous efforts

to support market stability, they reaffirmed the importance of adopting a

cautious approach and retaining full flexibility to increase, pause or reverse

the phase out of the voluntary production adjustments, including reversing the

previously implemented voluntary adjustments announced in November 2023.

The seven OPEC+ countries also noted that this measure will

provide an opportunity for the participating countries to accelerate their

compensation. The seven countries reiterated their collective commitment to

achieve full conformity with the Declaration of Cooperation, including the

additional voluntary production adjustments that will be monitored by the Joint

Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC). They also confirmed their intention to

fully compensate for any overproduced volume since January 2024.

The seven OPEC+ countries will hold monthly meetings to

review market conditions, conformity, and compensation. The seven countries

will meet on 2 August 2026.
